Christmas Ladies Luncheon with love, laughter and libations
This tablescape is a combination of heirlooms handed down to me from my grandmother’s and great aunt along with traditional Christmas decorations. The elegant china, silver plated flatware, pin tablecloth and napkins were once owned by my late grandmother, Lily Rasche. The green and pink depression glass items were collected by the and the crocheted doily was made by my late grandmother, Mildred Dreyer. The white candle holder in the center was a gift from my late great aunt, Wilhelmine Schulze. I imagine hosting my best gal friends as my grandmothers and aunt hosted their friends during the Christmas season celebrating their friendship with personal stories, good food and of course, a little libation to keep things lively!
Second Place: Tammy Baines
