Participating designers each decorate a table to a theme of their choosing. Visitors are invited to come and see these special creations and help us vote for a crowd favorite.

Join us on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. for a special presentation on the Historic Smith Chapel Cemetery, now officially listed on the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom. Historian Dorris Keeven-Franke, Professor Grace Wade Moser, her students from St. Charles Community College, and Cemetery Restoration Professional Jerry Prouhet will share the remarkable story of how formerly enslaved men, veterans of the U.S. Colored Troops, founded the Smith Chapel A.M.E. Church and Cemetery in 1871. Learn how their legacy continues through ongoing preservation efforts and educational programs that bring local history to life for new generations.
Warren County Public Schools Student Art Exhibit returns to the Warren County Historical Society and Museum this March during regular museum hours. A special opening event is April 23 from 5-7 PM with an awards presentation at 6 PM. Artists in 6-12th grade from Black Hawk Middle School and Warrenton and Wright City High Schools will be featured.
There are two seatings available, one at noon and another at 3pm. You can purchase tickets here online, or, pay by cash or check in advance at the Museum. Join us at the Schowengerdt House, 308 East Booneslick Road on Saturday, March 28th for a very special Easter Tea Party. Guests are encouraged to dress up and wear their favorite Easter bonnet to celebrate the occasion in style. A light luncheon will be served, accompanied by a delicious dessert. The featured tea for the event is “Schowengerdt Gardens”, a blend specially prepared for this gathering using selected ingredients from the house gardens. Cindy Trotter, with Therapeuo Wellness and our guest speaker, will share insights into the health benefits of various teas. Following her talk, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the historic Schowengerdt House and appreciate its unique heritage. Please arrive 15 minutes before the Tea start time. Parking is available at Frieden's Church lot. Tickets for this event are now sold out.
The Wright City Cemetery Memorial Society invites the community to attend "Voices From the Past," a unique program designed to honor and share the stories of those laid to rest in the Wright City Cemetery. The event will take place on Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 pm at the Museum.

A special program by the Thomas Kennedy Chapter, NSDAR planned for Thursday, June 18 at 6:30 pm. The program, “Voices of Courage, Hearts of Freedom, Men and Women of the American Revolution,” highlights Warren County patriots and women who supported the Revolutionary cause.
